Happy Anniversary Baumgarten's

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad B!
36 years today your legacy for the future began. You were young and in love, had the future in front of you and could only dream of what it would hold for the two of you; kids, happiness, grandchildren. I believe after spending the past 11 years with you that many of your dreams have come true and here are just a few reasons to support my theory.
We love you with all of our hearts and wish you many more happy memories to come.
June 15, 1974
A beautiful woman and a handsome man, begin what will become a wonderful life together.

The happiness continues throughout the years.

and even got better as you began to welcome children into your lives.

You were blessed with three amazing children, all wonderful and unique in their own ways.
Joel - The strong silent one (until his temper flares) A man of few words, but yet one that will do anything for you. He is truly a teddy bear.
Jen - Strong, independant, spiritual, loving, world traveler, and educated.
Amy - Strong, independant, young at heart, logical, a saver, private
These children are direct descendants of your hardwork and dedication to your family.

The men of the family

and the girls.

Then after a few years (which probably could have been a few more:) of perfecting the art of parenting , your oldest thought it was time for you to move on into bigger and better things.....
.
being a grandparent!
Granted, I am pretty sure it didn't happen quite like that, but none the less you accepted the job and have truly become some of this child's biggest supporters. You accepted him from day one, helped raise him into the young man he is today, and have always loved him unconditionally.

Then just when you thought your oldest was done giving you surprises and new people to love, I came along into the family on September 2, 2000. Our start together may have been a bit shaky at first, but I am so glad that we are on a straight path now. I truly have been blessed to be given a family like yours to love and spend the rest of my life with.

As Joel and my life continued together, we knew that more grandkids were in your future.
I know that I would not be able to accomplish as many things as I do without the love, support, guidance, and babysitting hours that you give to us.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Today, June 15, 2010 our family! We could not be any happier for the two of you. Congratulations on 36 years together and we hope there are many more to follow.
We love you!!

A week at the Lake!!!

This past week we were able to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Christianson's for the whole week. While there Gaven and Gabi even came to stay with us overnight, which then we were only missing the big boys in the family; John and Jerrin otherwise the whole gang was there.
Here are some of the things that we did while they were with us......

wehad fun in the lake,

smiles,

mischief,

girl talk,

and jokes.

Grandma even tried to get the four of us together for a photo. I think we should have had mommy warn her about how hard it would be to get all of us to look at the camera at the same time.

This is as close as we get. CHEESE!!!!!

some dress up fun with Spiderman,
Gabi is ready for a tea party,
The last day Grandma thought she would be very brave and take us all to Storybook Land, BY HERSELF!! We had so much fun making memories together.

Giddy Up!

Wheee!!!!!!!!

Carousel rides

The Emerald City's Balloon ride

Mom I do not think that we are in Kansas anymore,

Thank you grandma for taking time out of your busy schedule to make some new memories with us. We all had a great time and can not wait until the next time we stay again.
We love you Grandma,
Jaylen and Gracie

One big fish!!

Priceless!!!!
Jaylen caught this big fishie while staying at Grandma and Grandpa Christianson's house yesterday. He looks so proud. We did not fish at all last year, since g'ma and g'pa were building their new lake home, so this is truly the first fish that he has ever caught.
Not bad Punk, WE love you lots. Don't forget to let your sister catch a few too ok.

First weekend at the Lake

We celebrated Memorial Day at Grandma and Grandpa's new lake home and had a lot of fun.
Here are just a few of the memories made. We can not wait until the next time.

WHat do you think she is telling him to do, Grandma?
Jaylen, drop it in carefully. Be careful. I see something.

Who doesn't need a pole with a Spongebob bobber?

Here fishy, fishy. Where are you?

Come on, Come on. Bite on it you little bugger.

Cheese!

Look how far I can throw this rock mom.

Nice cast Gracie Rae.

The first whopper of the season.
Thank you Grandma for the memories. (And Jerrin thanks you for putting the bait on his hook)
