The bowling season for our young bowlers has come to an end. This past week both Jerrin and Gracie had their bowling fun days and awards night. Both kids did a great job all year and seem to be following in the Baumgarten tradition of loving to bowl. I hope they keep it up.
Jerrin had a good season, but struggled staying consistent. He didn't improve in his average too much so he was a bit bummed about that and his team did not do as well this year either.
He finished up the year with a 77 average. He also placed sixth at the North Dakota Regional Bowling Tournament that was in Enderlin. Way to go Buddy!
This is Jerrin's bowling buddy, Bethany. They have competed in three different bowling tournaments over the course of the school year together. They really make a great team.
The final photo of the team from this year together. They called themselves the Warriors when they went to tournaments.
This was Gracie's first year of bowling and WOW did she improve. The very first week of bowling she rolled a whopping 17 and by the end of the year she finished up with a 53 average. That is a 36 pin improvement.
She also won a plaque for the girls highest game with a 111. SUPER JOB, Gracie.

Jerrin and Gracie you both had a great year and we are very proud of both of you.
Way to go Bowling Baumgarten-ers! :) Rockstars! I can't wait until the next time we can all bowl together... however, I am a little nervous. I bet I am rusty compared to you two! :) Love you!
