First Day of Sunday School

It is that time of year again. School has started, the air is getting brisk, the leaves are starting to turn beautiful shades of red, yellow, and orange, you see signs of fall everywhere, but most of all, it is time for Sunday School to start again. If one is a visitor on the first day of Sunday School, otherwise known as Rally Sunday to Martin's members, at our church, they may be amazed by the number of kids that are in our church. I think it is safe to say that this just may be the biggest day of the church year to children ages 3- junior high when they think of church. Children are everywhere excited to start a new year.

Our children all had their own ideas of what the morning would bring, but for one little guy he knew there would be quite a celebration. He was not only excited for his first day of Sunday School, but also for the carnival to follow.

He looks so grown up. (I know the tie is a bit short, but come on he is adorable!)
It was totally his idea to wear this outfit on his first day, because he wanted to look handsome.

Here is a quick photo of everyone on their first day back.

Let the Carnival begin........
Dakota Carriage Company came with their "Cinderella" carriage and beautiful horses.

Look closely..... Jay is the only boy on this ride. We really could be in trouble with this one. The two cuties in the front are actually "girl friends" from daycare.

These two always find each other whenever they can play together. Jerrin has always had a little bond with this kiddo, even though I am not sure why. They just clicked! He and Jaylen are only one day apart in age, as his mom and I were in the hospital at the same time.

After church there not only horses but jumping games,

and even other games where we could win some candy.

Fun was had by both
big and small.
